Tanisha is a passionate and well-grounded yogi with a peaceful and playful heart that shines through her teaching. The Founder/Director of Resilient Yoga is a community health and wellness advocate committed to using yoga as a tool to support each of her students in their quest to become their highest selves. Resilient Yoga was founded on her love for the practice as a path to physical, mental and spiritual wellness. The San Diego native was introduced to yoga as a teen in middle school and happily shares this practice with people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
Tanisha is an IU School of Medicine graduate who has completed over 500 hours of yoga teacher training. She strongly believes in the value of yoga as a transformative health practice and brings an understanding of anatomy, physiology, and research to Resilient Yoga in an effort to join modern medicine practices with time-honored healing traditions. In addition to her love for yoga, Tanisha brings years of experience in education, health science and business leadership to the Indianapolis community.
